This system delivers efficient illumination with a 1-watt light engine suitable for signs up to 750 mm, meeting E2 UE3 standards. An oversized 93-watt cylindrical solar panel reduces installation errors while efficiently capturing winter sunlight. The vertically oriented design is optimised for low-angle winter sun when energy demand is highest, while still providing sufficient summer performance due to extended daylight hours. A shadow-resistant cell configuration minimises the impact of partial shading, and smart energy management is achieved through a Bluetooth-enabled regulator with data logging, paired with an AGM battery to ensure reliable, consistent operation.Details

- Solar Cylinder: Rotationally moulded medium density polyethylene (MDP) in black, with a high performance flexible solar panel utlising the latest Flexible HJT technology. Impact and shock resistant with an Anti-graffiti, non stick self cleaning surface. Cast alluminium gallery mounting, polyester powder coated black with stainless steel fasteners. 5 year warranty.
- Signlight: HYDRA Pressure die cast marine grade aluminium, polyester powder coated grey or black. Body mates to a range of post fixing brackets. Stainless steel treaded inserts. - Regulator: Victron SmartSolar MPPT 75/100 charge controller with built-in Bluetooth for VictronConnect app monitoring and configuration, and offers intelligent battery management with load disconnection to prevent deep discharge, extending battery life. 5year warranty
- Column: 4000mm (800 p/d) galvanised mild steel column with 168mm base housing and 76mm top post. Pre drilled to suit the Hydra and fitted out with battery brackets and wiring loom
